Description

Large folded iron band with four circular perforations punched from a single direction. There are no immediately visible forge welds of sections, suggesting that this band was forged from a single piece of iron.

Total unfolded length: 1647 mm. Width at rounded end: 80 mm. Width at squared end: 69 mm. Thickness at rounded end: 8 mm; thickness at squared end: 6 mm. Distance between perforations: 425 mm. Diameter of perforations: 9 to 10 mm.
