The surface is buff through greenish grey, vertical smoothing marks can be seen on the spout, horizontal ones on the exterior of the main body, finished with a high brownish-red burnish. Reddish-brown paint on the interior and exterior of the rim, perhaps dipped. A mark, X, was lightly incised on the interior of the body after firing. |
